The Product
Koobiba lets your child listen independently to the audio you choose for them. Load up to 500+ hours of stories, songs and sounds from your own MP3 files, recordings on your phone, or (soon) our online library.
Materials & Sustainability
We care deeply about sustainability — it's not an afterthought, it's a priority. At the same time, as a startup finding its footing, we need to rely on plastic material that is EU kid-safe-certified, same as most similar products in the market use.
Once we've found our place in the market, we're committed to exploring more sustainable materials. We don't know yet which will meet both our durability standards and your kids' enthusiasm, but we're determined to find out.
The Story
We created Koobiba when we needed a way for our 2-year-old to play his favourite music whenever he wanted, without handing him a screen. We also wanted an easy way to use the library of MP3s we already owned.
What we found on the market felt frustrating: we'd have to buy extra cards or figurines, create accounts just to get started, upload our own audio through someone else's cloud, carry all the bits around, and buy everything again when something got lost.
That felt like too much work for busy parents. Koobiba is our answer: a simple, screen-free audio player that lets kids press a button and listen to all their favourite audio, while parents stay in control.
